Shamir Mullings

Date of birth

Shamir began his career as a 16-year-old with Southend United, signing his first professional contract with the club in 2012-13 season. During which time he also spent time on loan at Thurrock, Tilbury and Harlow Town.

He subsequently made a permanent move to Bromley who were then in the Conference South - but the 19-year-old struggled to nail down a starting berth and went on loan to Thamesmead during the second half of the 2013/14 season, before signing for Havant and Waterlooville in August 2014.

Mullings signed for Chelmsford in the summer of 2016 after leaving Havant - where he had scored fifteen goals over two campaigns,

In his brief spell with Chelmsford, Mullings scored fourteen times and provided five assists in twenty-two appearances to quickly attract EFL interest before signing for Forest Green Rovers.

Shamir made nineteen appearances for the Gloucestershire side over a two year period, during which time he went out on loan to Hampton and Richmond Borough, as well as joining John Askey's Macclesfield Town in November 2017 on a three month loan deal.

Injury meant that his spell at the Moss Rose was cut short however, as Mullings headed back to The New Lawn before joining Maidstone United last summer.

The 6ft 5" striker then headed out to National League rivals Dagenham and Redbridge on a loan deal which saw him score on his debut against Ebbsfleet United.

Shamir was then released from The Gallagher Stadium in early January, before becoming Sol Campbell's latest addition to his Silkmen squad
