Elliott Durrell was born on 31st July 1989 and broke on to the scene with a prolific strike rate at Hednesford Town
During his spell at Keys Park, Durrell netted 58 times in 95 appearances which generated much interest from Football League sides.
Elliott ultimately moved to Wrexham at the start of 2014 where he made thirty appearances in all competitions for The Red Dragons – scoring four times.
Durrell then spent a year at Tamworth, before moving to our Cheshire neighbours Chester City at the beginning of the 2016-17 season.
The midfielder, who is also equally at home up front, scored eight times for the Cestrians as he proved to be an almost ever present in their starting line-up.
Much to the bemusement of the Chester fans, Elliott was released after just one season with the club and John Askey was quick to snap up the proven goalscorer on a two year contract as he rebuilt his Silkmen side during the summer of 2017.
What a signing Elliott proved to be too!
Our "Wizard on the Wing" was a nuisance to many opposition defences during the 2017/2018 season and scored a number of scintillating strikes against Aldershot Town, Guiseley, Barrow, Tranmere Rovers and Maidstone United.
