Danny Whitaker says the squad will be feeling confident heading into their third game of the season with Bromley at the Moss Rose on Saturday afternoon.
The Silkmen have got off to an unbeaten start this season, defeating Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground thanks to a stunner from Noe Baba before drawing with Hartlepool three days later.
With plenty of work put in on the training ground between then and now, Whitaker believes he and the rest of the team are well up for the task in hand.
“We’ll be feeling confident, no doubt.” He said. “We’re unbeaten in our first two games, and we’ll take the positives out of our first half performance against Hartlepool especially. We’ve had one or two things to work on in training but we’re ready to go again.”
With Macc working hard to make this a special season, the skipper’s message to Silkmen fans was one of appreciation.
He said: “The fans were in fine voice on Tuesday. All we ask is come and support us again, the lads are working hard and we’re unbeaten, so come and continue giving us that support.”
