Tyrone Marsh is determined to make an impact in League Two after signing a new two-year contract with the Football Club.
Marsh put pen-to-paper on a deal with the Silkmen last week and is now looking forward to the challenge of League Two football in August.
Speaking to mtfc.co.uk after signing his new contract, 24-year-old Marsh said: “I’m delighted to sign. We had a great season last year and I just want to carry that on into next season. Nobody expected us to achieve what we did last season and I’m just glad I’m here for next season now.”
Marsh, who scored nine goals for the Silkmen last term, admits it is a relief to get his contract signed early in the summer, and is now out to make an impact in the EFL, wherever he plays.
“It’s the first time I have signed so early so I’m glad to get it all done,” explained Tyrone.”I can go away on holiday now and come back and then start working hard. It’s good to have the stability of a two-year deal but in every season you want to work as hard as you can.”
“I just class myself as an attacker. I played a few positions last season but I’ll play anywhere as long as I can score goals and create them.”
