Halifax Town manager leaves by mutual consent
Halifax Town manager Billy Heath has left the club by mutual consent with the club down in 19th and just four points off of relegation in the National League table. After a previous managerial spell at North Ferriby United, Heath joined the Shaymen and guided them to promotion to the National League, but his side have struggled this season going on a run of just two victories in their last 19 games.
Hartlepool search for consortium interest
Hartlepool United are looking for potential investors that could form a consortium to take over the club to get in contact with the club’s solicitors. The club was put up for sale in December by HUFC Holdings Limited, and the club are looking to focus on the on-pitch matters, with the club just four points above the relegation zone.
A club statement said: “There have been several expressions of interest of some people willing to join together as part of a consortium, but may not have known others to join with.”
Leyton Orient make double signing
Leyton Orient have signed James Brophy and Marvin Ekpiteta. Brophy, 23, joins from Swindon after making 10 appearances for the O’s in a loan spell this season and has signed for an undisclosed fee for two and a half years.
Ekpiteta, 22, has joined from East Thurrock also on a two-and-a-half-year deal, but will return to his former club for the remainder of the season.
