Peterborough United midfielder joins AFC Fylde

AFC Fylde have signed Calum Chettle from League One side Peterborough United until the end of the season. The midfielder had been with Posh since January 2016, and has been in and around the squad. He will be hoping to nail down a place in the starting XI, and at just 21 years old will be looking for more experience in the men’s game after spells at other non-league clubs Ilkeston and Nuneaton Town earlier in his career.

Guy Gnabouyou exit and reaction

Former France U21 striker Guy Gnabouyou has left Torquay United this week after making just five appearances, four of which came from the substitutes bench after struggling to settle into the local area. But Gulls boss Gary Owers was less than impressed with the striker’s attitude;

"He left overnight without any pre-warning," Owers told BBC Sport. "The amount of time I put in to getting him here and negotiating with his agent, I think it's disrespectful on the club," added the Gulls manager.

Torquay have signed Plymouth striker Alex Fletcher, 18, on a 28-day loan since Gnabouyou’s exit.

Sutton sign League One ‘keeper on loan

Owen Evans has joined Sutton United on loan from League One side Wigan Athletic following an injury sustained to Jamie Butler in Monday’s draw with Boreham Wood. The 21-year-old will provide cover for Butler who is awaiting the results of a scan later in the week.

Evans is the second Wigan player to find themselves at Gander Green Lane after club-mate Terell Thomas joined the club last month, and featured in their 1-0 defeat to Macclesfield on the 30th of December.
