Ex-United Trainee Joins The Fleet

Ebbsfleet United have signed former Manchester United trainee Febian Brandy following his spell in Thailand with Ubon UMT United. The 28-year-old’s deal follows the injury to Fleet striker Darren McQueen that could result in the forward being out of action for the rest of the season.

Brandy has had spells at several Football League clubs including Notts County, Sheffield United and Rotherham. He will be looking to make an impact as Ebbsfleet face an away trip to fourth placed Sutton United on Saturday.

Chester Striker Nets On Debut

After signing for Chester on Monday, it’s certainly been a whirlwind week for Jordan Archer. Following his new two-year deal at the Deva Stadium, Archer scored just 11 minutes into his debut in Tuesday night’s game against Barrow.

The 24-year-old had already scored nine goals so far this season for Stourbridge – the Silkmen’s fourth qualifying round opponents in the FA Cup. The former Bedworth United striker has attracted attention from the Football League, and had a pre-season trial at Walsall this summer.

England C Team Announced

England have announced their ‘C’ Team ahead of the International Challenge Trophy Final against Slovakia on November the 8th. Manager Paul Fairclough has shortened his squad from 22 players to 16 after a three-day training camp earlier this month.

The National League produces 12 of the final squad, with a further four coming from the National League North. Woking, Kidderminster Harriers, Dagenham & Redbridge and Aldershot Town all contribute with two players:
