Kanu goes to Peterborough

The Posh have a proven track record when it comes to signing non-league talent and they’ve swooped again to sign young 17-year-old Idris Kanu from Aldershot Town for an undisclosed fee.

He’ll join two other non-league stars who have also signed for United this summer in Ricky Miller and Danny Lloyd.

Leyton Orient break record

Despite relegation to the National League, London club Leyton Orient have smashed a season ticket sales record that has stood for sixteen years.

The club has sold over 3,500 season tickets which surpassed the previous record of 3,400. Former owner Francesco Becchetti left the club this summer following the club’s relegation but Os fans have backed the new board with these sales and it looks like they’ll vote with their feet this season in terms of support.

Lokko signs for Stevanage

Maidstone defender Kevin Lokko has made the step up to league football. The central defender had a successful season with the Kent club which saw him called up to the England C team and now he’ll be looking to try and go up a league again by winning promotion with Stevenage.

He started his career with the youth set-up at Norwich City before joining Maidstone upon his release. The player has taken to Twitter and said he’s “delighted” to join Stevenage and “can’t wait to get going.”
