Guiseley appoint Cox

Paul Cox has been appointed manager of Guiseley, replacing the departed Adam Lockwood.

Lockwood was sacked by Guiseley after the club fell into the relegation zone early in the season, and Cox will now take the reins and look to take the club into better fortunes.

The former Mansfield boss will take charge of his first game against Eastleigh this weekend at Nethermoor Park.

Wrexham sign Preston

Callum Preston has been snapped up by Wrexham after Dragons keeper Chris Dunn suffered another thigh injury.

Dunn has struggled with recurring issues in his thigh for some time, and after this injury was confirmed the club moved quickly to seal a move for Preston on non-contract terms.

The former Wales under-19 keeper will provide bench cover for Christian Dibble.

Richards signs for Fylde

AFC Fylde have signed former Hartlepool United full-back Jordan Richards following his departure from Darlington.

The 24-year-old was released by Pools at the end of last season and moved onto the Quakers, but despite playing in pre-season, he was again released.

Fylde boss Dave Challinor said: “He has experience across the board. I want to have a closer look at him now.”
