Macclesfield Town Football Club is delighted to announce the return of the Silkmen Campaign Fund.
After what has been an incredible first half of the season, which sees the team currently at the top of the National League, the Club is focused on providing John Askey with additional financial support to bolster his playing budget and give the Football Club the best chance of being promoted back into the Football League.
With the support of the Silkmen Supporters Trust and with the majority shareholders having injected a six figure sum into the Club over the last few weeks, we would be delighted if anyone or any business would also like to make a financial contribution.
To make this possible the Club is today relaunching the 'Silkmen Campaign Fund'. A scheme that allows anyone to contribute, in multiples of £25, directly towards the playing budget for the remainder of this season.
Last year the Silkmen Campaign Fund raised over £30,000 and a similar sum or more, could make a huge difference during the second half of the season and help the Club achieve it's primary objective of promotion.
Should the Silkmen achieve promotion from the National League at the end of this season, then any contributor, will on presentation of their certificate, have their pledge refunded plus the same amount again as a thank you for their support. So, by way of an example a donation of £25 will result in £50 being returned.
Contributions are welcomed immediately and can be arranged by contacting the Football Club either in person at the main reception or by calling 01625 264686 and speaking to Caroline Hall. To demonstrate their support for the scheme the SST have kindly pledged £1,000 to get the initiative underway.
The Silkmen Campaign Fund will initially run in conjunction with the January transfer window, but may be extended.
- Opportunity is limited to donations totalling £50,000.00, in multiples of £25.00
- Opportunity initially closes at 5pm on January 31st 2018
- If applicable, repayment will only be payable to the individual named on the certificate;
