Macclesfield Town are pleased to announce the signing of highly rated striker Harry Smith, who joins the club on a one year deal.
The 23 year old began his career at Brentford, before making a dream move to Stamford Bridge to sign for Premier League giants Chelsea.
Harry then moved to Gillingham to complete his youth career, before making his name in non-league football with Sevenoaks Town, Sittingbourne and Folkestone Invicta.
The 6ft 5in striker found the net thirteen times in nineteen appearances at Folkestone and such was his growing reputation, a plethora of Football League sides entered the race for his signature.
That was until Millwall secured his services with a two year contract in August 2016.
Smith scored twice on his debut for The Lions during an EFL Trophy fixture with Luton Town, before firing an FA Cup hat-trick against Braintree Town the following December.
Harry joined League Two side Swindon Town on loan at the start of last season, where he scored three goals in nineteen appearances.
Now the exciting forward will join Mark Yates' Silkmen squad, as we continue to lay the foundations of our League Two assault.
Everybody at Macclesfield Town would like to welcome Harry to the club and wish him the best of luck during his time at the Moss Rose.
