Scott Wilson 'Looking Forward' To Moss Rose Return

Scott Wilson has said that it’s time to put Macclesfield’s two recent defeats in the past and respond with a win against Dover.

The striker scored his first league goal for Macc in the defeat against Sutton with a stunning volley and is determined to help the Silkmen build a strong home record.

Scott took some time out to speak to ahead of Friday night’s clash against Dover.

“We're very much looking forward to get to the next game, and even more so the fact it's at home.

“We need to make sure our home form is good as that's always a good foundation to build on.

“We've come out with two losses in our last away games which is always disappointing but that's behind us now and there's no better way to put them behind us with a win at home.”

Scott was John Askey’s first signing of the summer and spoke about how the squad is gelling together and how they’re improving plus how he himself is settling in at Moss Rose.

“As everybody is aware it's pretty much a new shape team this year so it's going to take time to gel and for everybody to realise each other’s strengths and weaknesses, staff included. Saying that it's becoming more evident now and as a squad we are learning and becoming a stronger group through our experiences together."
