Maidstone Untied boss Jay Saunders has told Kent Online that his side won’t be taking any chances ahead of their game with the Silkmen tonight.
John Askey’s side make the long journey to Kent tonight for the second time after the original fixture was postponed after several Maidstone players got stuck in traffic following a collision on the M25.
But Saunders says there will be no repeat tonight.
He told Kent Online: “We've looked at it as a club and a staff and we'll be in earlier to have a pre-match meal.
"We'll be doing that now until the end of the season. "We'll try it Wednesday, we'll then try it for the Good Friday game against Hartlepool.
"We're looking at doing something if we can but we'll make sure they're here on time.
"Rather than say being here for quarter to six we'll have them in at half past four for a bit of food and go from there."
