Second-placed Macclesfield Town welcome Boreham Wood to the Moss Rose as they look to climb to the top of the National table.

Team News

John Askey has a full Silkmen squad at his disposal apart from the injured Josh Thompson, and will be high in confidence after their victory at Barrow last week. In form Elliott Durrell will be looking to add to his goal tally after a stunning goal last Saturday.

The Wood also have a full squad with no new injury concerns. Angelo Balanta missed the match against Hartlepool United as a precaution, but has trained this week and will be in contention to return.

Last time out

Boreham Wood 2-4 Macclesfield Town

The last meeting between the two sides was on the 1st April as Macclesfield Town picked up all three points on their travels, courtesy of a first-half Mitch Hancox hat-trick, and a goal from Anthony Dudley. Bruno Andrade got a late consolation goal for the Wood in the 74th minute.

One to watch: Bruno Andrade

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has already notched up nine goals this season, and will be a threat to the Silkmen goal on Saturday. Andrade began his career at Queens Park Rangers, but after a spell of loans, dropped down to non-league football with Woking, before joining Boreham Wood in 2016. He has made 55 appearances for the visitors scoring 19 goals, an impressive record particularly for a midfielder.
