Macclesfield Town are on the road again tomorrow as they make the long journey up north to face Hartlepool United. Here is everything you need to know about the game.
John Askey will almost have a fully fit squad to choose from, as he knows a victory could send his side top of the National League table.
As it stands, Josh Thompson is the only one to miss out on the trip.
Last Time Out
These two sides last met in August, with the game playing out to a 1-1 draw.
In just the second matchday of the season, and the first at Moss Rose, Danny Whitaker’s first-half header had Macclesfield in front at the halftime interval.
However, former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker, Jake Cassidy, levelled the contest when he connected well to Ryan Donaldson’s cross on the hour mark.
The draw meant John Askey’s side had recorded a largely impressive four points from their opening two games. In Hartlepool’s case, it was their first point in the National League this season.
