The Silkmen travel to League Two side Forest Green Rovers in the FA Cup First Round this weekend looking to replicate last year's FA Cup success.
Macclesfield Town manager John Askey hinted at changes ahead of the FA Cup tie, with games beginning to take their toll as we approach the festive period. With a strong squad, the Silkmen will not be short of options and the likes of Scott Burgess, Noe Baba and Tyrone Marsh will all be looking to get some minutes.
For Forest Green Rovers, it’s likely manager Mark Cooper will field a strong team, with the only doubt defender Alex Iacovitti, who picked up a hip injury in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday night.
