League leaders Macclesfield Town welcome Ebbsfleet United to the Moss Road Stadium on Saturday with both sides hoping to extend their winning runs to four games.
The Silkmen will go into the game full of confidence after their two victories in the last seven days, but John Askey may look to freshen up his squad as the games continue to come thick and fast. In form Elliott Durrell will be looking to score in his third successive game.
Despite entering the game in 11th place in the National League Ebbsfleet are also on a positive run and will be looking to build on their midweek win over Solihull Moors.
Similarly to the Silkmen they may also look to give other members of their squad a chance to impress manager Daryl McMahon. It’s likely the visitors will be without Darren McQueen (knee) and Andy Drury (calf) after both players missed the game against Solihull.
Last time out
The last match between the two sides was a league encounter in February 2013, with the Silkmen visiting Stonebridge Road and coming away with all three points. It was a hugely impressive performance that ended in a 0-4 victory with Kieran Murtagh scoring after just 2 minutes, and Waide Fairhurst and a brace from Jack Mackreth ensured victory in the second half.
One to watch: Danny Kedwell
After scoring against Solihull Moors in midweek in-form striker Danny Kedwell will be a danger for the Silkmen defence to be aware of on Saturday afternoon. The 34-year-old is an experienced player, spending the majority of his career in and around non-league football, but also had a four year spell with Gillingham in League One and Two.
