Macclesfield travel to Bromley tomorrow knowing that three points will keep them top of the National League table. Below is everything you need to know about the game.
John Askey will be able to call on the services of midfielder Elliot Durrell, who served a one-match ban in the 4-1 victory over Wrexham two weeks ago. Meanwhile, George Pilkington is expected to be fit enough to stake a claim for a spot at the centre of defence.
Courtney Richards will also be available for selection after his recent loan spell at Solihull Moors came to an end.
Last time out: Macclesfield 0-0 Bromley
Last time these two sides met, at the beginning of August, it ended in a 0-0 draw.
Macclesfield though may perhaps have found themselves a little unfortunate not to have taken all three points, and created the two best opportunities of the game. Koby Arthur’s effort produced a great save from David Gregory early on before Noe Baba’s late drive flew agonisingly over the crossbar.
The draw meant both sides shared the points, whilst both maintaining their early-season unbeaten records.
One to watch: Josh Rees
Summer signing Josh Rees has quickly found his place at Bromley in the early part of the season, nettings eight times for the club already.
After joining from Chelmsford in the summer, the midfielder has been a key part of playoff-chasing Bromley’s early season form, which sees them hold eighth place in the division.
Bromley will be hoping he finds top form when these two sides meet, as he is a player with the potential to cause may problems for The Silkmen.
