Macclesfield travel to Aldershot this weekend for what could be a crucial match in the chase for promotion to the Football League, with the two clubs separated by only a point at the top of the National League.
Silkmen boss John Askey is expected to have a virtually full squad at his disposal following the return of captain Jared Hodgkiss for last weekend’s victory over Guiseley.
He will also further be boosted by the form of his forwards, with both Tyrone Marsh and Nathan Blissett striking last weekend to keep the competition for a starting spot up front high on Scott Wilson.
Askey is expected to be without Ryan Lloyd however after the midfielder missed the win over Guiseley last weekend.
Last Time Out: Macclesfield 2-0 Aldershot (30/09/17)
Macc took all three points earlier this season at the Moss, picking up a fourth win in five games thanks to goals from Ryan Lloyd and Elliott Durrell.
Lloyd bagged in the first minute as he pounced on an opportunity created by Scott Wilson, and Durrell struck from 20 yards to seal the score.
One To Watch: Shamir Fenelon
23-year-old Fenelon has already scored ten times for the Shots so far this season, and the former Republic of Ireland under-21 international will be looking to increase his tally when he lines up against the Silkmen this weekend.
He began his career with Brighton and Hove Albion, where he appeared twice for the first team and enjoyed a series of loans, before a permanent switch to Crawley Town eventually brought him to Aldershot.
