Macclesfield Town To Launch U21 Side

Macclesfield Town Football Club are delighted to announce the launch of a new U21 side.  The new side will be managed by Macclesfield Town Youth Engagement Officer Martyn Irvine and will enter the Cheshire U21 Development League for the forthcoming season.

The return to developmental football is a big step for the Football Club and follows the launch of Project 21 in the summer of 2016 that saw the Football Club launch weekly coaching sessions.

With the new season starting in September, the MTFC U21 side will be holding open trials over the next four weeks. Details of the trial dates and locations can be seen below.
