Macclesfield Town are delighted to announce the signing of Noe Baba. The versatile 20-year-old has signed a one year deal with the Football Club after leaving Birmingham earlier this summer.
Baba, who can play in midfield or in a defensive role, featured in our game with Bury on Tuesday and has now agreed a deal with the Football Club.
Noe was born in Cameroon but attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United after starring for Castlebar Celtic and Ireland’s underage sides.
Fulham won the race for his signature in 2013 and Baba was a regular in the youth sides at Craven Cottage before moving to Birmingham in the summer of 2015.
Baba, who has captained his country at U17 level and has featured up to U21 level, was once again a regular in the development sides at St Andrew’s before leaving the club earlier this summer.
He will now look for regular football in the Silkmen side and you’ll be able to see an exclusive interview with our latest signing later this afternoon.
