Winger Koby Arthur is targeting making an impression on the Silkmen side after extending his stay at the Moss Rose.
Arthur was limited to place on the fringe of the Silkmen side last year and while he admits that was often frustrating he is now determined to show what he can do as the Silkmen return to the EFL.
Speaking to Silkmen TV, the 22-year-old, explained: “It feels good to be back. We had a really good season last year and it is great to be back playing League football again.
“Obviously personally last season wasn’t what I expected. When you don’t play you can get frustrated but that is football and we go again for the new season. I just want to work hard again and I am looking forward to it.”
Koby admits the return to the EFL is going to be a big challenge but it is one that he is certainly looking forward too.
“I’ve played in the League before. That is where I want to play and I am ready to work hard. I am keeping myself fit and looking forward to the challenge next season.
“I’m just happy to play football.”
