On Tuesday night, the Silkmen’s unbeaten start to the season ended at the hands of Sutton.

Fortunately, though, the games come thick and fast and Macclesfield have a chance to bounce back from that defeat against Gateshead on Saturday.

Keith Lowe has played every single minute of the Silkmen’s campaign so far and he took some time out to speak to about how the team want to bounce back.

“It gives us a chance to put things right and start another unbeaten run. I’m really looking forward to it.”

“Losing any game is hard to take but when it’s so late on it really does hurt.”

“We really stuck in and competed well but it just didn’t fall for us, but like I said it’s time to get over it and push on again on Saturday.”

Gateshead have had a steady start to the season winning half their games so far leaving them in ninth position and Keith Lowe says they’ll be a tough nut to crack.

“We know they’re a good side, they’ll be well organised and like any other game in this league it’ll be tough and it could go either way and we’ll be doing our best to make it goes ours.”

Lowe has played every minute of the campaign so far, this season and the defender also talked about how the new look Macclesfield squad is gelling and the competition for places.

“Everybody’s finding out about each other’s’ games and I think that’ll be an advantage the more we play.

“You can’t rest for a second because anybody could be in that starting eleven on Saturday and we’re all working hard and everybody wants that shirt.

“My time here has been really good, I’m happy to have played every minute so far so, long may that continue. We just need to kick on now and keep going and see where that takes us.”
