John Askey is almost expecting a clean bill of health to choose from, as his side prepare to face Wrexham at Moss Rose on Saturday.
The two teams will meet in front of the BT Sport cameras in the weekend’s early kickoff. Second plays third, with both teams knowing a victory could send them top of the National League table.
Despite only having a small squad at his disposal, Askey continues to have players available at crucial times.
The manager, speaking ahead of the game, revealed that the only new concern surrounds Elliot Durrell, who has picked up five bookings so far, this season.
“Everybody is fit, but we’re just waiting to confirm if Elliott is suspended or not as we've played 25 games in all competitions and the cut-off point was 23 games.” said the Macclesfield manager.
“The FA aren’t really sure, one way or the other, and it’s a bit of a waiting game.
Askey did go on to say, though, that his potential absence may mean an opportunity for somebody else to come in and make a claim.
“It gives the chance for someone to slot in if Elliot doesn’t make it, so a good opportunity for someone.
“He (Durrell) didn’t start last week at Hartlepool. Obviously, he did well when he came on, but that shows the quality of players we have at the football club.
“We’ll just have to look at that when we know for definite.”
