With a win against Barrow under their belt, Macclesfield will be wanting to make it back to back victories on Saturday as they take on Boreham Wood.

Wood club currently lie in tenth place in the National League table and 2 points away from a play-off place.

The fantastic 2-0 victory at Holker Street stadium last Saturday saw full-back Jared Hodgkiss notch his first goal in a Macclesfield shirt.

He’s been speaking to www.mtfc.co.uk this week with his thoughts on the upcoming clash with Boreham Wood and confidence in the camp.

“We’ve not been at home for a number of weeks, so it’ll be good to get back there and hopefully get three points.”

“We want to go on another run and we’ve got to take confidence from the team being second in the league. If we stick to our game plan then hopefully we’ll get the win, we’re on our own turf and we’ll play how we want to play and stamp our authority on the game.

“There’s a lot of confidence in the squad at the moment and even when we lost three games back to back confidence was still very high and performances were good, and confidence is very high now and with Saturdays win that just breeds even more confidence.”
