Macclesfield Town hit the road tomorrow as they travel across Cheshire to take on Chester. Let's take a look at the game in a bit more detail.
Following the return of Elliott Durrell and Shwan Jalal to the squad against Dover, John Askey will be hoping defender George Pilkington will be available to him again.
Jared Hodgkiss is expected to continue his absence due to a groin injury sustained at the end of pre-season.
Chester are expected to have virtually a full squad available to them, including former Macclesfield players Andy Halls, Kingsley James, John McCombe and Paul Turnbull.
Last Time Out
Ollie Norburn was the hero the last time these two sides met in March, grabbing the winner five minutes from time to award the spoils to the Silkmen.
After initially going behind to a goal from James Alabi, Andy Halls equalised before Anthony Dudley gave Macclesfield the lead. Kane Richards thought he’d salvaged a point for the home side before Norburn stole the victory moments from time.
One To Watch – Lucas Dawson
Dawson, described as a “real find” by his manager, is Chester’s top scorer this season from midfield. The 6’2” 23-year-old has bagged three goals already for City, and is formerly of Telford, Nuneaton, Carlisle and Stoke City, the latter being where he started his career.
