The winger on scoring in Sunday's Buildbase FA Trophy Final

Rhys Browne has described scoring at Wembley in Sunday’s Buildbase FA Trophy Final as a “crazy” moment. The winger levelled the score line moments after York City took the lead at the 90,000 seater stadium.Browne says he’ll never forget scoring that goal and has paid tribute to the Macc fans who made the trip to Wembley.Speaking to Silkmen Player HD he said: “I haven’t felt anything like that before in front of the Macclesfield fans it was just crazy, it’ll be a moment I’ll never forget.“To be fair they played well in the second half I felt that our chances we had we just couldn’t put them away and on another day we would have probably won that game and lifted the trophy.“The fans were fantastic it felt like there was a lot more than the 7,000 or so that were there at the weekend.”John Askey’s men were arguably the better side in Sunday’s final as York snatched a late win.The 21-year-old admitted that Sunday wasn’t about who performed well, it was more about the result. He said: “We played really well, we worked on it all week we knew how to execute things but it was a cup game and it’s to about who plays well it’s about who wins at the end of the day.“Football is full of ups and downs in just an hour and a half and Sunday was a fine example of that.”
