Defender signs contract to stay at the Moss Rose

Macclesfield Town Football Club are delighted to announce that defender David Fitzpatrick has signed a new one-year contract with the Football Club.Club Chairman Mark Blower confirmed last week that Fitzpatrick had agreed a contract and this afternoon the 27-year-old signed his new deal.Fitzpatrick has been a regular in the Macclesfield side since his arrival at the Football Club in September 2015.To date he has made 74 National League appearances for John Askey’s side and played a key role in our run to the FA Trophy Final last season.Fitzpatrick, who had previously played with Southport, impressed on the day at Wembley and he will now look to continue to impress in the new-look Macclesfield Town side that will start the forthcoming season.You’ll be able to see an exclusive interview with David on our YouTube channel later this week.
