Macclesfield midfielder Koby Arthur says there is great competition for places in a strong squad at the Moss this season.
The Silkmen currently sit top of the league having just qualified for the first round proper of the FA Cup, and now face difficult back to back away trips to Leyton Orient and Dagenham & Redbridge over the coming weeks.
Koby himself struggled for a starting spot over the last couple of weeks, but took his chance away at Stourbridge in the FA Cup, grabbing a goal and an assist as Macc won 5-0.
Speaking after the game, he said: “We’ve got a decent squad. Those who are coming on from the bench are doing all that the gaffer is asking, and to be honest there’s huge competition for places now because everyone’s doing so well.
“It’s a good thing. We’ve got a team of players who all want to do well and it’s up to us to keep the good results coming.”
