Mark Kennedy claimed his first win as Macclesfield head coach on Saturday but now he faces a tough trip to Newport County on Tuesday evening. In our latest edition of Away Day Blues, we’ve gathered all of the important stuff you need ahead of our visit to South East Wales.

About the Ground:
Newport County AFC share Rodney Parade with Newport RFC and Newport Gwent Dragons, making a majority rugby stadium. The football club moved to the stadium in 2012 after 18 years at Newport Stadium. The ground is a mixture of old and new with two stands renovated in 2010 and 2011 respectively, and the more classic Hazell Stand alongside a temporary stand. Macc fans will be in the covered, all seater Bisley Stand.

Most supporters park in side streets around the stadium, although please be wary of any parking restrictions. Alternatively, there is the Newport High Street NCP. This is just a 5 minute walk to the stadium and can be found at NP20 4AX, costing £5.
Food & Drink:
Greggs can be found next to the ground on Langland Way whilst there is a Morrisons a short walk away on Orb Drive. Macclesfield fans looking for somewhere to have pre-match pint can access the clubhouse inside the ground, this located inside the main entrance. However, inside the away section of the stadium, there is a fan zone with a bar serving draught beers. Wetherspoons will allow away supporters on Chepstow Road, the pub is called the Godfrey Morgan.
