In what has been a busy week within Sky Bet League Two, we bring you some of the latest stories from around the division -
Morecambe Make String Of Signings
Morecambe have begun their January transfer window business early, with a number of new arrivals joining the League Two side.
They’ve signed midfielder Toumani Diagouraga, a free agent, (after being released by Swindon) who is a player that worked with Shrimps’ manager, Derek Adams at Plymouth.
They’ve also brought in 27-year-old forward Jordan Slew from non-league outfit Ashton United, a player who has had spells at numerous clubs including Blackburn Rovers.
Finally, Morecambe have acquired the signatures of two Burnley players, Ryan Cooney and Adam Phillips, who join on loan until the end of the season.
Conway Staying At Salford
Craig Conway has penned a new deal with Salford City to keep him at the club for the rest of this campaign.
The former Blackburn player turned down a contract with Rovers in the summer after making 200 appearances for Tony Mowbray’s team.
He joined the Ammies in October in what was a short-term agreement and the 34-year-old has played 13 times this season.
Vigouroux Joins Leyton Orient
Leyton Orient have signed free agent and former Swindon Town goalkeeper, Lawrence Vigouroux on a free transfer and an 18-month deal.
The 26-year-old hadn’t featured for anyone since leaving Chilean side Everton de Vina del Mar and the move is subject to international clearance.
"I think he's going to make a very big impact here" interim head coach Ross Embleton told the club website.
N’Guessan Leaves Burnley For Oldham
Burnley midfielder Christian N’Guessan has been loaned out to League Two side Oldham Athletic for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.
"Christian is very highly-rated and a complete centre midfielder," Oldham boss Dino Maamria said on Thursday in a club statement.
"He's hardworking, with a good attitude, has fantastic technical abilities and is a great addition to the team we’re building.”
Hunter moves to Salford on loan
Salford City have agreed a deal with Fleetwood Town to sign striker Ashley Hunter for the rest of this season.
The 24-year-old jumped up the divisions following his move from Ilkeston Town in 2015 and is a versatile forward who can play across the frontline.
He’s played in 14 league games this term, but started just one of them under manager Joey Barton.
