MTFC Football Academy Looking For Media Students Ahead Of New Season

Macclesfield Town Football Academy are looking for university students who are aspiring sports journalists, video editors, camera operatives and sports photographers to help assist their media output next season.

The roles are as follows -

Journalists – Creating engaging content for the Academy website including Match Previews and Match Reports as well as any other articles that are needed.

On matchdays you will keep social media channels up to date with latest scores from each of the Academy games.

You will also conduct video and written interviews with players and coaching staff.

Camera Operatives – Film matches for our U19’s/U21 teams using our 4K cameras provided.

Video Editors – Create a range of videos from Goal/Match Highlights to engaging animations and Gifs for social media channels.

Photographers – Attend and take photographs of Academy matches, edit and upload them to Academys Flickr in a timely manner.

• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.

We would require the inderviduals to be able and avaliable to get to Macclesfield College on Wednesdays to attend matches and/or Sundays for our U21 Fixtures at Platt Lane in Manchester each week.
