Macclesfield Town contested their 600th Conference fixture on this day back in 2016, as Paul Lewis' solitary strike helped secure victory over Guiseley.
Lewis had scored Macc's 800th Conference goal against Forest Green Rovers earlier in the 2015/16 season and would write himself into the history books once again when his 76th minute header secured maximum points for John Askey's side.
Before that, the game proved to be one where clear-cut chances really did come at a premium.
The only real one of note in the first period was when Danny Whitaker surged through the Guiseley ranks, before finding Chris Holroyd in acres of space fifteen yards out - yet his low drive across the face of goal flew marginally wide.
After the interval, Ollie Norburn and Will Hatfield both went close for the visitors, before Danny Rowe forced Steven Drench into a fine save - tipping the ball over the bar from a venomous volley from the edge of the area.
With time running out, substitute Lewis manage to get on the end of a teasing cross to break the deadlock in front of a jubilant Star Lane End.
In doing so, he ensured that we marked our milestone fixture with a victory and extended our unbeaten run to nine matches.
