Silkmen Set To Face Reading In Second STAY INtertoto Cup Clash This Afternoon

14 April 2020

After a convincing 2 - 0 victory over Middlesbrough last Sunday, Reice Charles-Cook will be hoping to secure Macclesfield Town's safe passage into the knock-out phase of the STAY INtertoto Cup later today.

The deadly duo of Joe Ironside and Jacob Blyth were both on target in our inaugural fixture and go into today's clash against Tom McIntyre's Reading side brimming with confidence.

The Silkmen have been dealt a huge boost ahead of the clash too - as Nathan Cameron's outrageously harsh red card against The Boro has been successfully appealed and he is free to face The Royals.

Reading come into the came on the back of a 4 - 1 defeat against Ed Francis' Wolves, yet they will be a tough proposition for Reice Charles-Cook's men as they battle against elimination.

Kick-off is at 4pm and you can watch a live stream of the game which will be shared on our Twitter channel shortly before the action gets under-way.
