Charlotte Looks Back On Saturday's Draw

25 March 2019

It was nice to not have to get up so early for our home clash against Stevenage this Saturday.

I remember our trip down to the Lamex Stadium earlier in the season and there was only one goal in that game, but sadly the points went to The Boro.

I came down to the Moss hoping that it would be different this time round.

Walking down towards the ground, the teams were announced - it was good to see Kieran O’Hara available with it been international weekend and I was even happier for one of the mascots - as I know Kieran is one of his favourite players!

On the 19th minute the whole ground came together regardless of blue or red colours for a moments applause in remembrance of Mike Thalassitis. It was a great tribute.

Then on 42 minutes our "wizard of the wing" Elliott Durrell fired home to put us in the lead.

Although I was impressed with the celebration, please Elliott be careful as we need you fit!

Unbelievably Stevenage equalised on the 44th minute to take us in even at the break.

The second half kicked off and we were attacking The Star Lane goal.

Disappointingly Stevenage scored on the 52nd minute to go ahead.

Despite this I just know we are going to get something out of this game. I was positive of this when on the 80th minute, our Magic Man Danny Whitaker marches into the action.

Right at the end, Danny cast his spell on the Star Lane End once again as he fired home a brilliant equaliser to send everyone home happy

Hope to see you all at Lincoln for what will be another massive game.
