Macclesfield Town are blessed with many loyal supporters, who have passionately followed the club for a vast amount of years.
Today we pay tribute to someone who despite only being twelve years of age, is a Silkmen fanatic and relentlessly wills the team on each and every home game.
Sam Graves stands in the London Road side of the ground and without fail, he can be seen next to the tunnel giving the lads words of encouragement as they come in from their pre-match warm up.
Sam exemplifies everything which is special at our club and Media Manager Bob Trafford paid tribute to him this afternoon -
"Sam is a true Silkmen hero. He is always so positive and you can just see the excitement in his face as he high-fives the lads as they come in from the warm-ups.
"Come rain or shine, Sam has the same smile on his face and we massively appreciate his support every single game.
"We wanted to pay tribute to Sam for all his superb support this season and as a small token of our appreciation, we have arranged for him to come and meet all the lads at the training ground where he can have his photo taken with the team and get all their autographs.
"Sam exemplifies what this club is all about and we are sure that he will continue to follow us for many, many years to come"
Thank you once again for your support Sam and we hope that you have a great day!
