Silkmen Start 2019/20 Sky Bet League Two Campaign In Devon

20 June 2019

Macclesfield Town will kick-off the 2019/20 Sky Bet League Two season by making the trip down to Devon, as we get set to face Exeter City at St James' Park on Saturday August 3rd.

Our first home game of the season will see us entertain National League champions Leyton Orient the following Saturday and after contesting our Carabao Cup Round One tie, we will make the journey down to Northampton Town on Saturday August 17th.

Jim Bentley's Morecambe will then visit the Moss Rose on Tuesday August 20th in the first of a home double-header, with Scunthorpe United being the visitors the following Saturday.

The opening month of the new campaign will end on Saturday August 31st, when we travel to Hertfordshire to face Stevenage.

Our first meeting with National League Play-Off winners Salford City will be on Saturday November 23rd when we make the trip to The Peninsula Stadium, with the return fixture taking place on Saturday February 29th.

The festive period begins with two home fixtures, as Plymouth Argyle visit the Moss Rose on Saturday December 21st and this is followed with a Boxing Day clash against The Mariners of Grimsby Town.

Conversely, the New Year period sees us make two trips away from the Moss Rose - with an away fixture at Forest Green Rovers scheduled for Sunday December 29th and a local derby with Port Vale in store on New Year's Day.

The Easter period will see us travel to Scunthorpe United on Good Friday and we will return to the Moss Rose on Easter Monday, as we welcome Stevenage to the Moss Rose.

Our 2019/20 Sky Bet League Two campaign will conclude on Saturday April 25th, when we entertain Swindon Town.
