How Far Will We Travel During The 2019/20 Season?

2 June 2019

With the composition of next season's Sky Bet League Two now finalised, we can really start to look forward to the upcoming campaign.
As such, we have taken an early look at the teams we will be facing and the lengths that we will travel over the course of the season.
Overall, we are set to travel a grand total of 5554.6 miles during the course of the season and of course, this does not incorporate any cup fixtures that would increase this.
Our longest trip of the season will come as no surprise to many - as it is the mammoth trip to Plymouth Argyle which encompasses a 532 mile round-trip. This is closely followed by their Devon rivals Exeter City, with the journey to St James' Park representing a 446.8 mile trek.
In terms of the shortest trips - Port Vale are our closest rivals with the trip down to Vale Park adding 34.6 miles to the grand total. This is followed by our Cheshire rivals Crewe Alexandra, who reside 20.1 miles away from the Moss Rose and therefore represents a 40.2 mile round trip.
