Macclesfield Town are delighted to confirm that former Manchester United and England striker Andy Cole has joined the club's coaching staff on a part-time basis.
The 47 year old enjoyed a glittering nineteen year career which saw him win eleven major honours - including five Premier League titles and the Champions League in 1999.
Andy remains the third highest scorer in Premier League history and amassed a staggering 289 goals over the course of his career.
As well as Manchester United, Andy also enjoyed spells with twelve other clubs which include Newcastle United, Manchester City and Portsmouth - where he played alongside Sol Campbell.
We would like to welcome Andy to Macclesfield Town and wish him every success during his time with us.
Check back later this evening for an exclusive interview with Andy here at www.mtfc.co.uk
