Crewe Top The table After Away Victory 

Crewe won their third successive game as they came from behind to beat Crawley Town on Tuesday evening.

This took The Railwaymen to the League Two summit, after losing the opening game of the season. They sit one point above Bradford. 

The hosts scored first as former Birmingham midfielder Bez Lubala fired his fourth goal of the season in the 16th minute. 

Ryan Wintle then equalised for the visitors after a cross form Paul Green. Green then turned from provider to scorer as he executed what proved to be Crewe’s winner ten minutes after the break 


Mickey Demetriou Ruled Out Up To For 14 Weeks 

The Newport County defender was stretchered during their 1-0 win over Plymouth last weekend. 

Michael Flynn, the Newport boss, is looking to sign a defender to cover the loss of his centre-back 

"It's a massive setback because Mickey has played every game for the last two seasons, 

"He has had an operation - he has had a plate put in. The time-frame is between 10 and 14 weeks to be back playing if everything goes right. Flynn said  


Dion Donohue And Jacob Mellis Suspended 

The Mansfield midfielders, Donohue and Mellis, have been suspended for an alleged serious breach of club discipline. 

Both players, who have made one appearance this season were absent from the clubs 2 - 0 win against Carlisle on Saturday. 

Donohue and Mellis have been removed from club duties until the outcome of an internal inquiry has been completed. The club have not given details of the allegations. 

A club statement read: "Mansfield Town Football Club has today suspended midfielders Dion Donohue and Jacob Mellis from duties following an alleged serious breach of club discipline."
