Wilfred Bony Trains With Newport County
Wilfred Bony is hoping his time training at Newport County will prepare him for a move to Italy or Turkey.
Bony, formerly of Manchester City and Swansea City, is training with The Exiles to improve his fitness.
The 30-year-old began training at with the Welsh side earlier in the week and this is set to continue until he finds a new club.
Michael Flynn dismissed any talk of him playing for the club though, stating that the striker can still play “at a much higher level”
Tom Parker Suspended For Three Games
The defender has been suspended for three matches, after being charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.
The Exeter City player accepted the charge after a clash with Chris Stokes in the 87th minute of The Grecian's 1-0 win against Stevenage.
Parkes missed Exeter’s Carabao Cup first-round tie at Coventry on Tuesday and will sit out the League Two games against Swindon and Oldham.
Crewe Alexandra Knock Middlesbrough Out Of The Carabao Cup
Crewe came out surprise winners against Championship side Middlesbrough in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.
The game finished 2 - 2 with Crewe winning 2 - 0 at half time. The home side fought back in the second half but were unable to complete the comeback in the shootout.
Crewe keeper Dave Richards was the hero as he saved Marcus Browne’s penalty to cause an upset at the Riverside Stadium.
The win means that Crewe will now face Premier League new boys Aston Villa at The Alexandra Stadium in Round Two, with the full draw below -
