Around League Two

12 April 2019

We take a look back at the biggest stories of the week from around Sky Bet League Two...

Lincoln Achieve Biggest Away Following This Century

Promotion hopefuls Lincoln were away at MK Dons last weekend, and the Imps took an impressive 5,556 fans to Milton Keynes in what was their largest away following since the turn of the century.

Those who made the 109-mile round trip saw their side overcome fellow promotion challengers MK 2-0 and with an 11-point cushion, Danny Cowley's side could be celebrating promotion this weekend.

Bury And Notts Have Court Dates Adjourned

Winding up petitions against Bury and Notts County have both been adjourned until after the end of the season.

The Shakers will now have their case regarding a dispute with former head coach Chris Brass heard at the High Court on the 15th May.

Meanwhile, Notts have until the 15th June to settle an unpaid tax bill.

Macc Escape Relegation Places

Now for the biggest story of the week as far as everyone associated with Macclesfield Town is concerned.

After our midweek triumph over Exeter City at the Moss Rose, the Silkmen are out of the relegation places for the first time since August and will look to capitalise on this momentum as we take on Forest Green Rovers this Saturday.

We hope to see as many of you as possible at The New Lawn this weekend as we look to pull further away from danger and secure our EFL status.
