Lincoln City celebrate promotion

Lincoln City confirmed promotion last weekend with a 1-1 draw at home to Cheltenham Town.

The Imps have secured promotion with four games remaining and will play in the Sky Bet League One next campaign after dominating the division for much of the season.

With a ten-point advantage over second place Bury, Lincoln look set to wrap up the league title and could do so with victory against Carlisle this weekend.

Chucks Aneke subjected to racial abuse

Milton Keynes Dons striker Chucks Aneke was subjected to racial abuse earlier this week in the form of a meme posted to image sharing site Instagram.

The post followed MK’s 2-1 defeat to Tranmere Rovers last weekend with MK describing the abusive image as "totally disgusting and unacceptable".

Both MK Dons and Tranmere have issued statements condemning those responsible and the case has been referred to the police.

‘Enough’ Campaign gathers momentum

The PFA has launched the #Enough campaign to encourage people to take a stand against racism in the game.

The campaign encourages players to not use social media from 9:00am on the 19th April until 9:00am on the 20th April.
