Before Monday's game with Newport I was thinking about when we made the long journey down to play them back in October.
Luckily for me it was half-term so I could go to the game, but that last minute equaliser was cruel in so many ways and I hoped that we could go one better this time around.
As well as being busier than normal, the Star Lane End was so warm on Monday night and I must admit that I am glad that it wasn't me who had to play the game as to do that in itself for ninety minutes was a brilliant achievement.
The game kicked off a little later than planned and we were defending the Star Lane End for the first half.
Both teams needed the points for different reason, but it was Macc who had the better chances with Elliott and Brice both going so close to giving us the lead.
I was really nervous I knew some of the other games scores and know we really needed something from the game for us to stay above the dreaded zone.
The second half kicked off and both defences stood firm with the game ending in a draw.
The league stays the same and we remain two points clear - so it was definitely a point gained.
We now have a massive game at Port Vale on Saturday and I hope that everyone will be there to cheer the team on.
