Before Saturday's game I thought about the trip to The Globe Arena earlier on in the season - it was another first visit for me.
I remember the journey well due to banter from the Morecambe goalkeeper - we bumped into him at the services on the way there.
Unfortunately he got the last laugh as they secured all three points that day. However I had faith that it wouldn't happen for a second occasion.
It was a beautiful sunny day as I walk down to the ground and the starting eleven remained unchanged following that amazing result at Lincoln last week.
It was also fantastic to see Harry Smith back in the squad!
The game kicked off and Morecambe definitely start the brighter of the two sides and sadly they took the lead on the 27th minute. Not the start we were hoping for but the boys all kept fighting.
On the 33rd minute we equalised when a pass from Scott Wilson finds our wizard on the wing, Elliott Durrell. It goes flying past Morecambe’s 'keeper and nearly took the net out!
Moments later Reece Cole was very unlucky not to put us in front when his amazing free kick was somehow turned on to the post by the 'keeper.
The game ended 1-1 so it was another valuable point to add to the total.
Tomorrow's game can't come around quick enough now. Three points is essential to keep our destiny in our own hands.
We need to back the players as much as we can because this means everything.
See you tomorrow.
