We are really fortunate to have three brilliant mascots for this Saturday's home game with Morecambe.
Ben Crowther is seven and is currently undergoing treatment for Rhabdoid Sarcoma - which is a type of cancer. He has two older brothers, James aged twelve and Harry who is ten.
Ben’s CLIC Sargent nurse, who is working with him and his family kindly contacted the charity Free Kicks Foundation asking if they could arrange for a day out here at the Moss Rose in order for the whole family to enjoy a memorable experience during this difficult time.
We were the more than happy to arrange this for the Crowther family and to make the experience even more special, they will also be enjoying full hospitality prior to the game.
In addition to this, we would like to thank the Silkmen Supporters Trust for donating all three strips for our special mascots.
Free Kicks arrange mascot packages all across the country for children who are suffering from illness or at a disadvantage for a whole host of reasons.
We can't wait to see them on Saturday and are sure that they will bring us some luck!
