Macclesfield Town are pleased to announce that Media Manager Bob Trafford is to become our new Fan Liaison Manager.
The role will encompass all areas of the operational side of the club and will provide a valuable conduit between the club and our loyal fans.
Speaking on the appointment, Bob stated -
"I am really excited by this role, which will allow me to listen and react to fan comments regarding the operational side of the club whilst retaining my media commitments.
"I am passionate about taking this club forward and a big part of that undoubtedly centres on addressing fan issues - as a fan myself this is something which means a lot to me and I will work tirelessly to succeed in this important role".
Chief Executive Kevin Green added -
“This role is vital in our ongoing commitment to provide a better quality service to our supporters.
"I am delighted that Bob has taken on this role and would ask any supporters to bring any matter concerning the operational running of the club, to his attention in the first instance"
Club Chairman Mark Blower also stated -
"This is a really important role and will hopefully go some way to bridging the communication gap between the club and it's fan base.
"Invariably there will always be operational issues that require clarification or resolution and Bob will now become the first port of call .
"In addition to this, both Kevin and I will remain available to supporters who would like to raise issues with us about any aspect of the club".
