Macclesfield Town travel to Meadow Lane tomorrow as we face Notts County for a Boxing Day clash which has all the makings of another pulsating encounter.
We go into the match having lost just once in our last five league outings after Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Port Vale at the Moss Rose.
Here is what Sol had to say ahead of the game:
Danny Whitaker is expected to be back in contention after missing out on Saturday due to a back issue, however Rhys Taylor (hip) Callum Evans (ankle) and Elliott Durrell (knee) remain sidelined.
Your support will be invaluable once more, as we look to climb out of the relegation places with victory in Nottingham.
Notts County are currently 23rd in the league standings after having taken 19 points from their 23 league matches up to this point.
That puts them one place and two points above us in the league going into tomorrow's clash.
Last time out our hosts suffered a 4-0 away defeat at the hands of Grimsby Town, although they have taken four points from their last two home league fixtures.
Opposition manager Neil Ardley had this to say ahead of the game:
“The games come quickly over this period.
“If I harp on about Saturday's defeat and knock the boys dead with talk around this result then we won’t be ready for Macclesfield on Boxing Day".
