Match Preview: Macclesfield Town v Crawley Town

15 December 2018

The Silkmen return to the Moss Rose on this afternoon as we face Crawley Town in our latest Sky Bet League Two encounter.

After falling to a narrow 1-0 defeat last time out away at Colchester, Macc will be looking to get back to winning ways against The Red Devils.

Here is what Manager Sol Campbell had to say ahead of the match -

We hope to see as many of you as possible come and support the team, as we welcome Sol to the Moss Rose for the first time.

Rhys Taylor (hip) and Callum Evans (ankle) are both unavailable for the match, but Sol will have the rest of the squad at his disposal.

Our visitors Crawley Town come into Saturday’s game with 26 points from 20 Sky Bet League Two fixtures, leaving them in 16th place in the league standings.

They travel to the Moss Rose having won once in their last nine outings in all competitions and fell to a 1-0 defeat last time out at home to Northampton Town.

The Red Devils also come into the tie having not won an away league tie since September, a 1-0 away success against Lincoln City which marked their second away league victory this season.
