Daryl McMahon’s Macclesfield Town bowed out of the FA Cup after defeat to Kingstonian in the first round.
A youthful Macc side took to the field made up by loan signings and Macclesfield Youth Development players who were making their debut for the senior team.
The visitors opened the scoring in the first minute when Daniel Hector latched onto a Kingstonian long ball to slot past Owen Evans in the Macc goal.
The seventh-tier club extended their advantage soon after when Louie Theophanous controlled the ball well with his chest, before volleying into the net.
Kingstonian again begun the half strongly and they added a third through Daniel Bennett. He tapped in from close range to put the game out of reach for Silkmen.
The K’s confirmed their place in the second round of the FA Cup in the 68th minute. Theophanous took the ball around Evans to despatch into an empty net.
